ROC SDK 3.15 sets a new global standard for fingerprint identification. Our latest fingerprint engine ranks #1 in the world for Class B slap fingerprints in the NIST FRIF TE E1N evaluation, sweeping every one of the 28 Class B identification metrics. In real-world terms: when a 4-4-2 slap capture is searched against a database of millions of subjects, ROC returns the right person, at the top of the list more often than any other vendor evaluated. A Simpler, Smarter Fingerprint Pipeline

Beyond raw accuracy, the fingerprint engine is also easier to use. The previously separate “enhanced” representation behavior is now enabled by default, and search performs fingerprint reranking automatically.

Next-Generation Tattoo Recognition

ROC SDK 3.15 ships a new tattoo model series with improved performance for both tattoo representation and tattoo detection. It also adds a new fast tattoo detection mode for high-throughput pipelines and resolves a bug affecting tattoo processing in serial mode.

Expanded Licensing Options

Licensing in ROC SDK 3.15 expands across more deployment surfaces. Licenses can now be bound to specific GPU hardware in addition to the host MAC address. Android and iOS now support floating licenses, allowing organizations to share a license pool across mobile fleets without per-device licensing. Lastly, license files can now be issued as base64 strings, making them easy to distribute through text-only channels.
