1 Introduction and consent
This Cookie Notice explains how Rank One Computing Corporation d/b/a ROC (“ROC”, “we”, “us”) and our approved partners use cookies and similar technologies on our websites (including roc.ai) and our developer portal (together, the “Sites”). It is part of and incorporated into the ROC Privacy Policy (roc.ai/legal/privacy-policy), which explains how we handle Personal Information more generally.
We use strictly necessary technologies without your consent because they are required for the Sites to function. For all other categories, these technologies are set when you use the Sites. You can control them through your browser settings and the third-party opt-out tools described in Section 6.
This notice covers ROC’s own web properties only
ROC is a business-to-business API provider. We do not place cookies on, or otherwise track, the individuals who use our customers’ applications, and our Age Verification API does not use cookies. This notice concerns only visitors to ROC’s own Sites.
2 What are cookies and similar technologies?

Cookies may be “session” cookies, which expire when you close your browser, or “persistent” cookies, which remain until they expire or you delete them. They may be “first-party” (set by ROC) or “third-party” (set by a partner we allow on our Sites, such as an analytics provider).
3 Categories of cookies we use
We group the technologies on our Sites into the categories below. The specific cookies in each category, their providers, and their durations are listed in Section 4.

5 Do we use analytics and marketing partners?
We may use reputable analytics and marketing providers to help us understand and improve our Sites and to measure our campaigns. These partners may set their own cookies subject to their privacy notices. We configure analytics to limit the information collected where feasible, and we do not sell your Personal Information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising as those terms are defined under applicable law. Our current analytics and marketing providers include Google Analytics and Google Ads, Microsoft Clarity, LinkedIn, and a marketing-attribution pixel from Cheeky Branding (delivered via Google Tag Manager).
6 Your cookie choices
You have several ways to control cookies and similar technologies:
- Browser settings. Most browsers let you block or delete cookies and warn you before they are set. Blocking some cookies may affect how the Sites function.
- Third-party and device opt-outs. You may opt out of certain third-party advertising cookies through industry tools (such as the NAI, DAA, or Your Online Choices in the EU) and manage mobile advertising identifiers in your device settings.
If you delete all cookies, your opt-out preferences (which are themselves stored in a cookie) may be reset, and you may need to set them again.
7 If you disable cookies
Strictly necessary cookies cannot be switched off because the Sites will not function properly without them. If you disable other cookies, some features may not work as intended or may be unavailable.
8 Changes to this Cookie Notice
We may update this Cookie Notice from time to time to reflect changes in the technologies we use or applicable law. We will revise the “Last updated” date and, where required, provide additional notice or obtain renewed consent.
